Yes it is true. One would think that it couldn't be in an economy like this but it is. Warby Parker a recent start up is selling glasses, that in my opinion are very stylish, for only $95 including lenses. Since there are only a few physical locations around the United States and they do not sell their glasses in any main stream retailers you will probably have to pick up your pair online, but have no fear, before you commit to buying a pair you can select five different styles that they will send you for a free at home trial.
